 Departing from your home or hotel, this tour takes you to the mining areas of Montevecchio (70 km. North West of Cagliari) where you are going to visit the local museum and eventually the actual mines, closed since the 1960s and now declared Cultural Heritage of the World by UNESCO.
We later travel to the scenic mines of Ingurtosu (17km.) and on to the breathtaking beach of “Piscinas”: 6 km of rolling beach backed by golden sand dunes reaching 50 mt in height. The beach boasts a hotel built on the site of an abandoned mineral depot. Lunch at the hotel is available upon request. Return home in the evening.
